Mary and Max

The opening film of the fest is Mary and Max, an animated film about two lonely penpals, a world away from one another.

The film was sweet and quirky. There were some funny moments, and I think technically speaking it was VERY well done. But I'm afraid to say I was a bit bored. They could cut a good 20 minutes out at least.
